no you dont!!!

belgo · 27/04/2008 12:59

Slightly tender norks is a symptom of pregnancy. SOme women don't get any clear symptoms until week 6 or 7, some women never get morning sickness

mummy2olivia · 27/04/2008 13:02

I DO I DO!!!!

I almost feel not pregnant- I dont feel tired or sick or emotional or dizzy. just normal. Is it normal to feel normal??!!!!!

Very Very normal.

I had no symptoms with DS at all and none with this pregnancy so far. Felt a bit queasy but no more.

If you do get morning sickness you'll look back on this thread and wish you didn't have it.

JessJess3908 · 27/04/2008 13:53

The first time i got morning sickness was walking past a fish stall in the market. I was so excited to finally have some physical proof it was really happening that I kept walking back and forwards to see if it made me retch again (it did). Don't think the stall holder was pleased!

You may be getting symptoms that you don't realise are down to pregnancy. I've had toothache, bleeding gums, spots & now eczma - none of which I associated with pregnancy until i saw other people's posts on mumsnet.

Mummy2, you are a lucky lady, I had sickness, blahhhhh, then absolutley knackered, zzzzzzzzzzzzz, couldnt face meat of any kind, ewwwwwwwwww, then my pelvis fell to peices, owwwwwwww, and I ended up on crutches. I can understand your need for a inkling of yes its true, but when that sickness hits you know you will be begging for it to leave.

Good luck, hope you feel bloody awful soon, (in the kindest possible way, you understand)

I didn't get any symptoms until between 7 and 8 weeks. Then they went on and on and on. Believe me, when you reach 34 weeks and are still feeling crap you will wish you'd kept quiet!

mummy2olivia · 27/04/2008 15:49

I want to feel SH*T!!!! Its the only way I'll know I'm pregnant!! apart from the 12 pg tests..........

Am still getting a bit of a feeling like I'm about to come on any day- is this normal at this stage and a good sign???

I was really pleased the first time I got morning sickness (dead on 6 weeks by the way, so wait...) but after 6 weeks of vomming every day the novelty had very much worn off! If you get through this stage of preg without symptoms you will be very lucky! TBH the main ones are sore boobs, tiredness and vomming so at least one out of three is plenty!!!

colacubes · 27/04/2008 16:54

Mummy2, yes I had what felt like period pains, both times, was convinced any day I would come on and wouldnt need to wasdte money on a pregnancy test!! So yes very normal.

duvetheaven · 27/04/2008 17:05

I thought similar to you mummy2olivia . My MS started at 6 weeks and then 'Whoosh'. Really suffered, thought I would have to give up work. Every waking minute was a struggle! Turned from a foodie to a food avoider.
When you say you want symptoms you probably mean the milder end as I wouldn't wish that level of MS on anyone and that was not HG.
Good luck with pregnancy.

This is my third pregnancy and the first two I felt rotten, not dire like some, but really ropy and so tired I couldn't move, sick but never was, but it went away when I ate - this time - and now 30 weeks - I felt absolutely nothing, not tired at all, no sickness, nothing. Was also smaller than my friend of same time, and felt nothing at all so was in a bit of a panic too!

Had scans at 6, 9, 12 and 20 weeks and going for 3D one on Wednesday - coz - why not?!

All is fine, but so so weird having such a different pregnancy, I could quite easily have got to still now (apart from bump!) without knowing I was pregnant! Honestly honestly - really don't worry!

ten10 · 27/04/2008 19:13

i went off gin - , it tasted terrible

oh yes and i was very tired, like fall asleep standing up tired,
nipples looked different and felt different in that i could feel them there all the time,
had no appetite, none, didn't want to eat anything,
morning (2x every evening) sickness didn't kick in until later, maybe 7/8 week can't quite remember

2catsand1rabbit · 27/04/2008 20:03

Oh my god, I was EXACTLY like you... and then the sickness started - absolutely horrendous, do not wish it on yourself!!!

Tinkerisdead · 27/04/2008 20:14

I'm 12 weeks tomorrow and I was exactly like that, in fact all of us on the nov antenatal thread were i think. I was desperate for symptoms and then in week 7 the sickness kicked in and now im at the pther end praying it stops next week
