Hey, just been to the loo and found this. Is this my mucus plug? DH and I had sex last night for first time in a month or so, so wondering if not to panic and related to that… but looks very similar to pics from a quick google. Help! Do I call midwife?

Sorry not sure but any concerns then call midwife I'd say

Yes, looks like it. Call your midwives/ to the hospital and get checked out.

Echoing yes call the hospital, while you're on the way. Thinking of you.

Yes think it can be quite common after sex to lose parts of it and it does look like that. As long as there is no pink stain/blood generally they are happy, also keep an eye for any new strong tightening in your tummy (unlikely but that definitely needs reporting). Of course always run these things past your midwifery team too

Looks like a chunk of it yes. Same happened to me a couple times after sex throughout my first pregnancy. Nothing ever came of it. It gets replenished/replaced.

Absolutely call your midwife/MAU for advice/reassurance anyway.
