9 week scan

Does this scan look ok/normal for 8 1/2 weeks,the head appears quite big that all and a few odd bumps? TIA

I’m sure the sonographer would have told you if not.

She just said to try and get my 12 week scan as early as I could?

Mine at 7wks looks quiet similar. If there's anything wrong then they should have said. Last time there was something wrong with my private scan they referred me to the EPU.

As long as there was a string heartbeat that's all that matters for now.

Yes I did have this one done in epu due to previous losses,they did say everything looked ok and I was a bit further that id originally though,just a bit anxious

I think yours is similar to mine just a little less clear they do tend to have a bigger head at this point. I’m now 31 weeks all good

Thank you for the reassurance it's just I can't make out what's what,I've never had a scan this early before

Baby's head will be about half the embryo at this stage so it will look out of proportion

Was it a private scan?

An early ultrasound that you pay for privately not on NHS,never had one.

your sonographer would’ve told you if there was anything wrong. They can look weird on early scans in particular, the scanning distorts the image.

if the sonographer has seen anything of concern they would’ve told you x
