Hi all, I'm 17+6 today!
I feel that my bump looks a lot smaller these past few days (no major changes recently)

I haven't started to feel movements yet so I'm abit worried. Is this normal? Do bumps fluctuate? I feel like my stomach is pretty much nearly flat rn as before it was slightly more out

It was probably bloating before.

Congratulations on your pregnancy

My stomach was hard before so I don't think it was bloating, my bloating went away at around 12w

Thank you my love x

Baby's probably rolled further into your back and it's absolutely nothing to worry about 😊

It's quite common when the bloating goes down and it's just the actual bump (or lack of it).

I looked massive from 10 to 16 ish weeks and swore it was all bump (especially the latter part of that time) as it was rock hard and would be there morning till night but then it definitely went down and changed shape and I had a smaller bump around 17-19 weeks. It was definitely bloating, baby is too small at that stage to make a big difference to your bump size or shape, that's just the size of your uterus.

I had a scan in that time and my baby was absolutely fine so no concerns from that point of view even though I'm not feeling movements yet.

I'm now 20 weeks and I still think my bump is smaller than it was a month ago.

Is this your first pregnancy? I felt no movements until 22 weeks with my first (and still none at 20 weeks with my second) - in my first pregnancy, once the bloating had gone I lost my bump completely and barely even looked pregnant. I don't think I got a proper bump till about 33 weeks when I. Finally 'popped'.
