BFP then BFN?

Hi all! Just seeing if anyone has experienced this too...

Yesterday (10 DPO) I had a bfn with fmu. By midday I felt super nauseous and decided to take another test. Clear as day a positive line came up straight away. It was faint but you can see it in a photograph no question! I did two more and both the same. Skip forward to last night I used a CB digital...not pregnant. I tried another cheapie and I couldn't see a line anymore! Today FMU tests also bfn. I'm due on Sunday, I am so confused as I already have two children and when pregnant with them I never had disappearing positives!

I feel very pregnant, anyone have a positive outcomes that's experienced what I have?

I think I remember having something like this with my 2nd child, the tests at the start for a couple of days took a while till I got a definite positive. You might just need to be a bit more patient 😁 x

Different tests have different sensitivities and the level of HCG in your urine also fluctuates across the day usually dependent on how hydrated you are. It’s still very early days so I wouldn’t worry too much. Assume you may well be pregnant but try and wait until you are due before testing again and go from that result. I know it’s not easy - I was a prolific tester when trying to conceive all of mine but it’s an expensive hobby and one which only adds to anxiety really.

Don’t test again until your period is late! You can be pretty confident then that whatever test you use and whatever the result is, it’s the actual result.

Thanks ladies! All the tests are from the same box. Just cheapies but a well known brand and they've never failed me. They are very sensitive though 5ul I think. I thought for sure I've have a chemical maybe but I've had one before and lost all my pregnancy symptoms before I realised. Where as today I feel super pregnant. I know I'll test tomorrow as I have no patience 🤣 and I'll update you all. X

It's because you're testing so early - the tests all have different sensitivities (especially digitals) and also it makes a difference what time of day you test, how hydrated you are etc.
It's completely pointless doing repeated tests within hours of each other - not only is it a waste of money but you'll also cause yourself extra anxiety unnecessarily.

My advice now is just wait to miss a period, give time for the hcg hormone to increase, then test again.
If you miss a period and are pregnant, you will get a strong unmistakable BFP. None of this, is it or isn't it
