C section date/ go early

I have my section booked in for 39+2, but baby has been head really low down for last few weeks in scans and my growth scan today she was unable to measure her head because she was that low. Just wondering if anyone had similar and ended up going early before their section date, nervous and don’t want to end up with an emergency section 😫 this is my second I was induced at 39 weeks on my first ☺️

Yes my waters broke before my elective date, it was all totally fine. Yes it was termed an emergency section, but it was very chilled out and there was no rush at all. They didn't even wake the anesthesiologist immediately as DH needed to stay at home till our childcare got there. I was contracting, but only mildly, DH turned up around an hour after I did, I drove myself to the hospital, I walked your the theatre and the spinal got put it and DS2 was born about 40 minutes after DH arrived. All totally chilled, calm, I got to choose the radio station too!

That was at 38+4 BTW, They had booked me in for my elective at 40+1, so I had completely expected to go before that. DS1 was born at 41+3
