Long post alert. I had a period September 14th then again on the 11th October. Octobers period was a bit lighter and not as painful as my normal period but was bleeding for 7days like always.

Done a clear blue test on the 31st October which came back positive straight away.

Saturday 2nd October a digital showed 1-2 weeks

5th October showed 2-3 I don’t understand the dates. Sorry for the long post and confusion if any, my brain is frazzled. Also added two pictures one from the app and one of my tests. X

I assume you mean 2nd and 5th November, not October?

The first day of your LMP would put you in very early pregnancy - 3 weeks 5 days to be precise.

The digital tests aren't exact, just an indication, but they only show from conception, you then need to add on 2 weeks to get approx gestation. So on Saturday it said you were 3-4 weeks pregnant (1-2 weeks from ovulation), yesterday it went up to saying 4-5 weeks pregnant (2-3 weeks from ovulation). It's likely you're between the 2 right now - the result is dependant on hcg levels which can be affected by time of day, how hydrated you are etc etc.

Remember all these dates are approximate at this stage, you won't get an official due date until you have a dating scan which actually measures your baby. Before this, the midwife will use LMP as a guide but that date is based on an average 28 day cycle with ovulation on exactly day 14 so it's not accurate for a lot of women
