Lightning crotch

31 weeks here - I've only had the odd pain internally down there before tonight, but I've had constant sharp pains up in my cervix for a few hours now and I'm not sure how normal this is.

Does anybody else have episodes of this or have spoke to their midwife about it so I don't have to wait until Thursday to ask mine?

Baby boy has been head down for a few weeks now and I know it's supposed to be from the pressure, but I'm struggling to find anything else online as to why it would be constant.

I had something similar. No issues in the end but you shouldn't be having constant pain. Definitely call the labour ward and get checked x

Can’t give a doctors opinion but my missus had braxton hicks contractions for months before our baby was born. They sometimes stopped her in her tracks and were worrying for her. But, if you feel like something is wrong always call 111 to check it out. Just my input.
