Is it normal to ache ( where you'd normally get period pains ) at 7/8 weeks pregnant ?

Yes! For me early pregnancy cramping was much worse than any period pains I've experienced but it was all normal!

I’m not a doctor but, yes, my partner had the same thing. She cramped almost all the way through her pregnancy. If you see blood/blood spots, definitely get it checked out. If you feel anything might be wrong and want to be checked to put your mind at ease, call 111. But yes, my partner had this and we now have a healthy baby.
