Planning on breast feeding but if doesn't go to plan we was looking at getting this. Is it worth it?

Truly one of the best purchases we made. Initially, I baulked at the price but it has paid for itself a hundred times over. Incredibly simple to use, not super noisy, easy to clean. The fact that it heats the water in the back to the right temperature was the game changer. It's ace.

Do you just use normal tap water or boil the water first? Do you need to use descaler regulaly?
We just got one second hand looking into how best to use it!

I couldn't buy something called baby brezza on principle.

@Toon49 Boiled water until they're 6 months old (or whatever the recommendation is) - we used to just keep a covered jug next to the machine at all times and just top it up whenever we boiled the kettle for tea, and then the machine heats the water itself to the right temperature like a coffee machine. Have never used a descaler, just taken it apart on occasion and washed it out with fairy liquid in the sink. Very easy to do!
