Lack of symptoms

I’m around 6 wks pregnant with my 2nd baby.
in my first pregnancy I remember being able to smell everything and feeling quite nauseated and unable to brush my teeth without gagging and heaving, but I can’t remember when it kicked in.

so far, I feel pretty good which is making me nervous. It’s not that I have no symptoms, I have some (increased discharge, slightly tender boobs and sometimes a horrid taste in my mouth) but the lack of nausea and tiredness is worrying me. 12 week scan booked for mid-dec and I just feel like I’m not really pregnant.

no bleeding, cramps or pain but how the hell do I trust everything is ok?

You can't unfortunately, it's such s stressful time. Personally, I couldn't wait for 12 weeks and had an early scan.

In my first pregnancy I had no symptoms till I was over 7 weeks. This time it was earlier, around 5.5 weeks but every woman and every pregnancy is different.

My mum had 4 and never had sickness or other strong symptoms.

It doesn't have any bearing on the viability of your pregnancy either way - some women have no symptoms and have a healthy baby, others have extreme symptoms and turn up at the 12 week scan to find they've had a missed miscarriage. Some start later, some have symptoms that come and go. All of it is 'normal' (sorry, I know that doesn't really help)

It’s so stressful isn’t it! I can’t recall being this stressed with my son but somehow the nausea seemed to ease my mind 🙈 even though like you say, it’s not a true indicator of a pregnancy being successful!
