There's a TTC after loss thread on the conception board where you will find a lovely group of ladies going through this.

I had a miscarriage in August and last month I was really hopeful that I had conceived tender boobs and other symptoms a week before my period was due but 3 negative tests later my period arrived whilst waiting for the 3rd test to show me a negative.

I would have thought you would have a clear positive at 5 days late but you could have a wonky cycle and an have ovulated later than expected which would have been too early to pick up the pregnancy when you took the test. In my first two pregnancies I tested 5 days late and got dye stealers. I got a positive this week and was 2 days late and it was a clear line but a lot fainter than my 5 days late. I'm a bit apprehensive about losing another pregnancy. I'm trying to be hopeful, the epu told me to get in touch when I'm 6 weeks for an early scan and progesterone so I'm holding out for that. I'm already nauseous which should easy my mind but I had awful sickness in both previous pregnancies one that was successful and one that wasn't so I know that's not always a clear sign.

Is there anyone that can hold your hand whilst you take your test - physical or metaphorically?

Braved it and had a positive result 2-3 weeks

Congratulations!
I'm 5 weeks today so we must have similar due dates.
