Hi all!
im so happy to receive my BFP after two losses. My question is, does anyone have any advice on how to remain positive and less anxious? I’m hoping and praying that I’ll have a healthy pregnancy! Thank you

Congratulations! Sorry for your losses, I had a mmc earlier in the year. I practice gratitude daily which helps and I had a reassurance scan last weekend which was reassuring. I'd say the anxiety doesn't go away but definitely getting outside more, doing all the self care helps. Best of luck x

@Sunnydays12340987 thank you and I’m sorry for your loss too but congratulations! I also had a mmc earlier in the year. Praying for a healthy pregnancy this time round. How many weeks did you have your reassurance scan?

Good luck. It’s really just a case of taking it one day at a time. I had four losses in total but I also have two children now. It was tough times so sending you lots of strength. I had reassurance scans at 6 weeks, 10 weeks and then at 16 weeks as well. Once I was under the care of the miscarriage clinic, they saw me weekly at some points and the lovely nurse lead let me ring whenever the panic got too much and would see me.

@Rainbowflower2024 I’m sorry for your losses. I’ve had two MMC in the last 18 months and 14 weeks pregnant now. I told myself over and over that nothing I did would change the outcome and I just needed to get through this period. Distraction worked for me where possible, jigsaws, walks. Normally I’d see friends but I was very sick! I had a scan at 10 weeks purely because the idea of finding out at the 12 week scan felt overwhelming, maybe because both MMC were diagnosed at around 11.5 weeks, and I knew by 10 weeks the chances were good - before that I found it easier to just pretend it was all ok but that was just me. I also told a couple of close friends early on so I had people to talk to that weren’t DH as I didn’t want to make things harder for him by obsessing about it constantly. All I can say is good luck, do whatever might help you, and be gentle with yourself, pregnancy after loss is really hard but it does get easier

@Whatanidiot123 @HerbaceousPerennial thank you both for your kind words! I’m starting counselling soon from my previous losses so I’m hoping that’ll help me some how too. I think I might also get a scan at 10 weeks too. The thought is terrifying but I’ll see how I am and take each day as it comes. I’ve also told my close friend and will tel my other two close friends too as they’ve been so good to me. Thank you all!!

Thank you ❤️ fingers crossed for you! I had it at 8 weeks. I'd recommend around then as more likely to hear a heartbeat than earlier x
