I know this is so random but I was wondering what bottles everyone's using and what the hype is with Tommee Tippee or isit just because it's a popular brand? lol

Iv also noticed you can't get the pink bottles anymore with Tommee tippeee but get a lot of green and blues typical 😂 anyone know why? Or where I can purchase atal? lol

Either way can anyone throw some suggestions for me please ☺️ I'm also looking at the Tommee tippee electric steriliser and wondered if any other bottle brands would still work with this?

Thankyou xx

I use Mam anti colic bottles. I just picked as that was what my sister used so I was used to them. They can be sterilised in a microwave which I find handy for sleepovers in granny's! 😅 Friends who opted for Tommee Tippee over Mam bottles (those are the 2 main ones around here) preferred that there were less parts to wash and sterilise.

We have tried loads of bottles as DD2 had a very severe tongue tie which led to a long period of oral disfunction.

Tommee tippee - personally, I found they leaked everywhere
Mam - I liked the self sterilising ones but DD found them too wide for her mouth. She never seemed to get a proper latch on them
Dr Brown - i liked these but they were pricey and I can't say that DD improved a great deal
Nuk first choice - these suited us best and were the ones we stuck with, but they have a smaller range of teat sizes than mam

Hope that helps!

I used them with my first. This time I've used mam and find them much better

Tried with Tommy Tippee, but quickly moved to Mam and will use again

Another vote for Mam bottles. So easy to sterilise in the microwave

We did TT, Medela, Lansinoh, Dr Browns and then back to Tommee Tippee about 11 months after first trying them (and DD hating them). Mam gave her awful, awful gas. Dr Brown’s were best for us (but such a faff to clean).

I think Tommee Tippee are popular because it’s a familiar name and they are easy to find - most (all?) supermarkets stock them, as do Boots, John Lewis etc. Mam easy sterilising is a great concept though, I desperately wanted DD to like them! We had a 3 pack where the bottle was clear but the rings and lids were coloured - one green, one pink, one white. That might satisfy your need for pink?

We tried own brand ones but found Tommee tippee much easier to make with a wide neck. DS doesn't mind either so we stuck with Tommee Tippee

We used glass MAM bottles with silicone teats to reduce microplastic ingestion.

We liked Tommee Tippee! I used for both children.

Amazon had a good range of designs and I just checked- they have pink ones 😊

We use Mam and they have been fine, although a faff to clean. We don’t have a microwave and I use a Milton cold water steriliser. They have loads of colours if that’s important although in my experience you’ll be less bothered about matching up the colours of parts when baby is screaming for a feed at 3am!

We started with TT with DD before switching to MAM when she suffered with colic at 6 weeks old. Never looked back and when our second baby came along we used MAM from the start. You don't need a steriliser as long as you have a microwave which is a huge win imo.

Never had any issues with TT bottles, we used the anti colic ones with the wand in them with DD
