Hi Everyone

just after a little bit of advice of people’s past experiences… I had my last period 9th October, so therefore not due my next until 6th November next week. I however did a test on Thursday 6 days before my period as I had a feeling and got a pretty strong positive, which I didn’t expect! I did another yesterday and got the same and then today I’ve done a clear blue digital which is stating 3+, but I’m unsure how? X

Did your last period feel completely normal? I would expect you to be much further along looking at those lines, so it would make sense if your period was in fact implantation bleeding.

Yeah my period was as normal, which is what I’m confused by. Xx

How long have u been spotting for?

Yeah it really does! I've been spotting for nearly a week now which is worrying me 😣

CosmicLove · 03/11/2024 07:57

I spotted during the first trimester of my current pregnancy. From 4 weeks for 8 days and from 8 weeks for 10 days. Everything has so far been fine though (touch wood) and it settled down. I'm now 23+4. Good luck, I know spotting is scary to see but it can be a normal part of early pregnancy xx

Hi, sorry I've not got any advice....I'm actually in a similar position - 5th Oct was my LMP and I'm 4 days late but clearblue said 3+ weeks this morning! Not too sure what's going on but I'm a bit freaked out! Hope everyone is feeling good today ✨️

We're you bleeding onto a pad/tampon. Or was it just when you wiped sorry to ask but it started as just when I wiped but now I'm having to use a pad x

CosmicLove · 03/11/2024 09:13

@kas24 no I didn't have to wear a pad. It was very light - mostly brown but some pink / light red. I sometimes had some on a panty liner but mostly only when wiping and definitely not filling a pad. Sorry - I really hope things progress positively for you xx

I'm not filling the pad but there's definitely blood there x

@kas24 I've definitely read stories from other women who've bled like a period from implantation. It's not super common but does happen. It's very encouraging you're having strong positive tests. That was what got me through the spotting at 4 weeks - I was convinced it must be a chemical but my tests got darker each day. I called EPU at 4+4 and they agreed to book me for a scan at 6 weeks, by which time the spotting had stopped and I saw a heartbeat. Hoping for good news for you 🤞

Ahhh congrats!! We’d be due similar time then :). I’m the same, unless we’re just super hormonal haha, or potentially it’s twins!!! Xx

Thanks! Haha imagine 😵 I'm just so nervous each day, how are you managing to distract yourself?!? I'd like to book an early scan but don't want to jinx anything

I’m the same, the next 9 weeks seems a lifetime off, and a lot of anxiety to go haha! I’m not, I feel like the last 4 days have felt like 4 weeks!!
im hoping with the lead up to Xmas the next coming weeks will go pretty quick. I am hoping to book an early scan for beginning of December I think. But going to wait a few weeks.
I may give the hospital a call back and explain the super strong tests and the 3+ test and see what they say though! X

Haha I'm glad I'm not the only one 😂💐 I was thinking similar for the scan! I rang the GP and they said they weren't concerned so I guess I'll just have to wait 🙈 Seems like giving them a call is a sensible idea! Just to put your mind at ease x

@Jersee215 how are you getting on? X

Jersee215 · 11/11/2024 11:04

I’ve had back ache and stomach cramps last two days with a bleed, not hopeful :(. Went through a miscarriage back in June too.
how are you? Xx

OP posts:
17nic · 11/11/2024 17:56

Oh no @Jersee215 I hope everything is ok! My symptoms have tailed off which I find really worrying, and I had some light spotting today so who knows 🙈 I'll ring the GP if it continues x

Jersee215 · 11/11/2024 20:15

Yes definitely do, I’ve rang my GP today they’re referred me to EPU, but they won’t see me until next week when I’m 6 weeks, 10 days wait :(. I just hope the bleeding stops. Hope you’re spotting stops too. It’s a horrible anxious few weeks wait isn’t it xx
