Had a positive test Thursday - I was 7 days late and have felt sick, dizzy and have been all over the place. I took the test and had two lines. I was over the moon and went to work- told my bestest friend and manager as I felt soo sick incase I needed to leave. They were very happy for me as they guessed since I had been all over the place recently and we didn’t know why.
today I took another test and it was negative. I’m very confused, was it a false postive? Yesterday I felt soo poorly - sick and dizzy spells again, which I put down to the pregnant. But clearly can’t be. I’m very confused and upset. Any thoughts

Sometimes pregnancies fail very early for a number of reasons. It can implant and start to create enough hormones to be detected
On a pregnancy test but sadly then the hormones start to drop off and eventually a period arrives. It's very
Common and usually
doesn't mean anything about your ability
To fall pregnant. It's called a chemical pregnancy.
It's not guaranteed this has happened to you it could be your urine was very diluted and it's early. Try testing again in a few days unless you start bleeding before then. Hope you are ok.
These things are hard but hopefully
If this month isn't your month then it will be very soon

Hi OP, those positive tests are very light. I would expect a much darker line if 7 days after a missed period - do you have irregular cycles? It could be that you are just very, very early on....

Unfortunately, it could also be a chemical pregnancy as mentioned by pp. In a healthy pregnancy the hcg hormone (which is what the test is looking to pick up) should double every 48 hours so there should be a big difference in the strength of the line from last Thursday and today. If it is a CP then you would expect some cramping and bleeding over the next few days.

Sorry you're dealing with this OP

These are very light OP. Try testing in a couple of days but it’s likely you’ve had a chemical pregnancy
