Appendicitis in pregnancy - has anyone experienced it?

I know someone who has just been taken into to hospital with suspected appendicitis, shes in her 2nd trimester. Am really worried about it and was just wondering if anyone else had been through it and what happened.

You need Piffle. She had her appendix out when Pg with her ds2....

JARM did, too.

IIRC she was about 5 months along.
