Dizziness in early pregnancy

I've been having dizzy spells since before I got my BFP. I'm 5w3d today and it's just still so awful. I'm trying to do bits around the house and everything just keeps spinning.

Is there a magic remedy that I'm not aware of?

Ill be keeping an eye on this thread incase someone gives you an answer 😂🙃 i’m the exact same!! i’m nearly 6W and the dizzy spells (that i have had for the last 2 weeks) have now turned into headaches and major migraines - it’s awful! Never had this with my first!

I was dreading the sickness, but at the moment this is a million times worse

I had this and discovered it was caused by low blood pressure! Do you have a blood pressure monitor? I checked after I woke up and fainted one day. Things that helped were plenty of fluid and salty foods. It got better after a few weeks.

Two things to check - blood pressure and iron levels. Call thr midwife and ask for the checks.
I had awful dizziness and it turned out to be anaemia.

I am the same the dizziness and headaches are unreal thankfully the nasua weared off but this is intense. Waking me up from my sleep. I have low blood pressure 13 weeks in.

Hi OP, yes unfortunately this is quite a common side effect, especially in early pregnancy.
I'm 19 weeks now and my BP is sitting right at the very base line of 'normal' so i have to keep an eye on it. I've been getting dizzy spells and feeling faint since very early on in this pregnancy and the tiredness is debilitating.

Between this and the awful headaches, sickness etc, I'm finding this pregnancy harder than the first.

Hi fellow July due date buddy :) I also had bad dizziness and I found what helped me was taking a pregnancy vitamin every day which has iron in it (mine is a gummy), and this might be odd but drinking one of those probiotic actimel drinks every day. That helped a lot. Maybe you can try that :) and making sure to eat regularly

I also experienced ‘room spinning’ dizziness. Midwife advised it could be low blood pressure (mine wasn’t worryingly low but at the lower end). She advised me to make sure I get up slowly, drink plenty (through the night aswell) & have small sugary snacks.
