Possible prolapse? TW picture

Hi, apologies for the picture but I’m really worried that I have a prolapse as I have a heavy feeling. I’m 3 weeks post partum after having a normal vaginal delivery. I visited my GP and was examined lying down and she said there was no prolapse. Does this look like one? Thanks

I thought I had a prolapse too and it ended up being piles 🤢 I'm not too sure what a prolapse looks like but maybe you could show the hv on her next visit? Or if she's not due to call soon ring for a gp appointment? It is very unsettling not knowing.

*another gp appointment, second opinion?

I'm unsure if that's a prolapse or not however it's definitely something. If you've not yet been discharged by your midwife, give them a call and ask if they could take a look.

Some hospital maternity units will continue to offer support up to 6 weeks pp, another possible source of help for you if yours does this.

@TheFairMember hi. I’m just wondering did you ever find out if you’ve had a prolapse? I’m 3 months post partum and I saw a lump inside my vagina recently which I’m kind of freaking out about. I will be going the doctors next week.

This is what mine looks like OP. I actually put on a thread a few weeks ago asking if it was normal. I have seen a specialist and they said it’s mild prolapse and no need to do anything. I’ve had 2 kids and won’t have any more so it shouldn’t be a problem. It just looks a bit in your face doesn’t it - I haven’t found it affects anything though- I have crap bladder control anyway and always have.

@Abcdefghijklmh hi. I have just recently felt and seen a bulging inside mine. It’s worried me abit it’s blocking the entrance to inside. I will be going the doctors next week to see. It’s really scared me tbh. Did yours get any better?

Hmm yours sounds lower down than mine. Mines like the OP posted but not fully down or popping out. I went to the Portland in London and saw a specialist there- you can have surgery for it after you’ve had kids. If it’s bothering you definitely do this. Mine hasn’t got worse but not better either. I think it’s what it is type thing. Some say you can do exercises but I think it’s too far down the wrong path for that to help 😂

Hello - Do you mind sharing if you had the surgery and if you can recommend you doctor please?
