Even if it is part of your mucus plug, it can regenerate. I'd still get it checked out but try not to panic!

It doesn't look like my mucus plug. Ds was born bang on expected due date and mine was green and red and more or less solid and cylindrical shaped. By the time mine came out I already knew I was in labour by the contractions. I don't know whether one as early as yours might look like that, sorry, but if you don't have other symptoms of labour, hopefully not. I hope all is well for you and baby 💐

Discharge but call your midwife if you are worried

Looks like discharge to me, mucus plug was bloody and much thicker for me

WhatMe123 · 30/10/2024 22:20

No mucus plug would normally be blood tinged/brown/pinky and more thick

Looks very normal to me. I assume it has no smell and you can feel baby moving as normal? (I am a midwife).

YourBlueGuide · 31/10/2024 21:08

Did you find out what this was? I’ve had discharge exactly the same

ReeBee97 · 03/11/2024 01:06
