Tips on pregnancy with a toddler?

Any advice? Only very early pregnancy but fingers crossed - and already have a 1.5 year old - would love any advice on how to manage the pregnancy (does it really matter if toddler climbs on me / how to get them to be gentle/ can I still carry toddler around)! I know there will then be a whole thing about introducing them but I'll worry about that stage later........

A 1.5 year old is absolutely fine to be still carrying around. Sometimes my 3 year old falls asleep on the sofa and I carry him up to bed if my husband isn't home and I'm 32 weeks. I've literally done nothing different except not let him jump directly onto my stomach. Loads of women still carry their toddlers around, in and out of cars, up and down stairs etc. I will admit I am a bit more careful now but only because I'm much further on and I have PGP.

I'm still carrying my 3.5 year old around and she jumps all over me...they're really very protected in there. Try not to worry and just get on with life as you're able to. Hope all goes well for you.

Im 14 weeks pregnant with a 1.5 year old who kicks me in the stomach every nappy change and bedtime and a 4 year old who doesn’t know I’m pregnant and jumps all over me - I wouldn’t worry too much about it. As pp says they’re pretty protected in there, especially early on while they’re tiny.

Thanks so much all. I'm worried as emergency c last time and so still opt for one again but I'm sure recovery won't be easy!
