just that really! Had (another) growth scan today and they said I needed to be seen at hospital by consultant, today. On way there now and don’t know what to expect, anyone had similar and have any advice please?

I did with my first. They thought that she was going to be very small and she arrived 6 pounds 7. I know it's hard but try not to worry. Hopefully if you're being seen today they will be able to give you some certainty. Make sure you ask lots of questions if you're unsure about anything xxx

The first time I had this, they kept me waiting for several hours (so I would grab snacks and a magazine if possible) to repeat that my baby's growth had slowed, which I already knew. They booked me in for further growth scans.

I had one extra growth scan which showed baby back on the correct centile. The next growth scan showed baby had dropped again. They did monitoring with the bands to check baby was OK. I then saw a consultant who told me he was booking me in for an induction at 37 weeks. Baby was then born at 37+3.

The whole thing was a bit frustrating rather than traumatising for me. I hope all goes well.

Thank you, she’s measuring 4lb10, my daughter was 5lb15 when she was born so I’ve not been too worried really, until today! Googling isn’t helping my worries so trying not to. The sonographer wrote something like “suspected feral growth restriction”, I can feel her wriggling lots and there was no concerns on the scan other than her size.

I think I had something similar written! They are maybe being extra careful as your previous child was small? Hope everything is OK and you don't have to wait too long.
