UTI in pregnancy

Hi I need some advice. 14 weeks pregnant.

I was referred by community midwife 6 weeks ago to see a consultant as it’s high risk pregnancy. At my midwife appointment I had “mixed growth” in my urine but have not been contacted by anyone for treatment. I saw the result on the badger app. Today I went to see a registrar at the hospital and I did another urine sample and was told it’s positive for leukocytes. I was asked if I had any symptoms (I have never had an UTI before) but I’ve only felt a bit itching down below like if I’m dry (sorry TMI) no other symptoms. My urine sample was sent off to the lab and I asked who I should contact to get the result and some treatment prescribed. The registrar didn’t know so now my question is if I don’t have any proper UTI symptoms do I need treatment? Do I contact GP tomorrow to get some treatment or what do I do?

Thank you in advance.

Contact your doctor and see what they say? If it is a uti don’t leave it, don’t risk it really. Let the doctor decide?

Thanks for the reply @Blue2020

Spoke to GP this morning who said I have to contact the hospital for the results and advice.

@KG2022 oh, did you contact the hospital after the gp said that? Hopefully you got the results.
