Does increased nausea indicate a girl?

I am currently pregnant with my first baby (I am only 11 weeks so don’t know the sex yet). My hairdresser asked how I’d been feeling so I said that I’ve been ok, just very tired and hungry, but I’ve not been feeling particularly sick. My hairdresser said that she thinks I’ll be having a boy, because most people who don’t feel too sick tend to have boys.
I did some googling on this just due to being bored and it seems there is some truth in this, though obviously it can’t be relied on! There was a study done in America in 2020 of over 3000 participants and it concluded that there does seem to be a higher incidence of nausea and sickness for those that give birth to girls.
I’m just wondering what you all think about this, have you noticed anything similar yourselves or amongst your friends?

I was really sick with DD, then not sick much at all with DS. Then really sick again with baby 3 and he was a boy! It must be more about how your body is dealing with pregnancy at that point in time.

No heartburn at all with any of them and I had 3 baldy babies so that bit was true for me!

I've got a girl. No sickness at all, just a bit if queasiness in the first trimester.
