I don’t think it is but there seems to be a lot of conflicting information online so I’m none the wiser. Just wondered if anyone has any advice please? Smile

Depends on the situation, a routine visit isn't covered but a referral would be.

On the whole hygienist services are not covered on the NHS so are not covered by NHS exemption, you have to pay privately.

However if you have gum disease that should be treated on the NHS but that treatment will in the vast majority of instances be done by the dentist.
