okay....the placenta will probably move from the birth canal...and the cord so when you next go for a scan you should be able to find out what you want

if you are full of a cold then treat it like any man would.....you are dying and cant move therfore eveything scheduled is ccanceeled

oh one more thing

CHEER UP!!!!!!!

Hey biglips - how about thinking about the anticipation of not yet knowing the sex, think about the boys names / girls names or what colour you will paint the room when you find out - I always like the excitement of the waiting, once you know you can't go back so enjoy not knowing and do some happy daydreaming!

As for the cold, why not take a nice bath with the music going in the background.

Oh - and I find chocolate always helps!!

And last of all, remember to SMILE it really does work!!

I felt crap in my second trimester- so much for 'glowing' . Try going for a walk or something (weather here is lovely and that is just what I am going to do). At my 20 week scan the sonographer refused to tell us the sex anyway, but from what I saw I suspect this one is a boy- I will get a terrible shock if it's not. My friend also had to go for a rescan because of potential placenta praevia but everything turned out fine and she ended up having a lovely homebirth, so try not to worry. And if possible, try to rest. My nesting has kicked in now and I have been up to all times of the morning cleaning floors and tidying up and I wish I could just stop!

hey thanks guys as i feel better now as i went to pick my dd up from her preschool....and i felt better putting the clothes away but ill take it easy today.

i kept all the clothes that dd had so its in the loft and the room that the baby is gonna be in is already done as it was my dd's bedroom but now shes in the big bedroom.

All ive gotta get is nappies, couples of new babygros, bouncy chair and playpen and if its a girl then ive got no worries at all but if its a boy then ive got a headache!!

Hey I'm 19+4, 20 week scan next week, and also full of cold.

Ben and Jerry's Cookie Dough and strawberries are cheering me up!
