Feeling movements at 12 weeks?

I'm quite shocked due to how early on this is, but I'm certain I can feel the slightest of movements, like little flutters! The sensations feel just like how when I first felt my daughter move in my previous pregnancy, although oddly it was quite late on compared to average that I started to feel her move. I was not expecting to feel anything for a long time yet, especially as although I haven't had my official dating scan yet, at my most recent scan on Monday where I measured 11+2 they said the placenta appears to be forming anteriorly, where as my previous pregnancy the placenta was posterior. Could I really be faintly feeling movement so soon, or am I finally losing the plot? 😂

I felt swooping motions at 9 weeks on my 2nd! The womb has been stretched and shrunk again, plus you know what to recognise now from pregnancy number one. At least this is what my MIL said to me 😂

@Zeeha Yes. I felt my son at 12+5 and my daughter around 11 weeks. Both times it was like a goldfish turning over in a bag of water. I'm autistic though and we're known for being extra sensitive to what our bodies are doing.

Sorry that was 'yes, you can feel it'. You're not going nuts :)

With dd2 I felt her around 12 weeks, it was around 17 weeks with dd1. Quite common to feel them sooner second time round

Yeah I definitely felt movements at 13 weeks with my 2nd baby 😊 much more common to feel them earlier with subsequent pregnancies x

It's early but it's not unheard of, especially if not your first pregnancy.
