i am 4 weeks into my pregnancy and the only symptoms I am having is a bit of bloat and slightly sore boobs and obviously a missed period. Is this normal? When should I be expecting morning sickness?

I had twins and never had any symptoms no sore boobs no morning sickness ...absolutely nothing. Pregnancy is completely unpredictable each time

There’s no ‘should’ about it. I had no symptoms throughout my 3 pregnancies, other women puke every day for 9 months.

I’ve had virtually no symptoms in either of my pregnancies so I don’t think things like morning sickness are a given (thank god!)

Everyone is different. Try not to symptom watch. You will drive yourself mad. Symptoms come and go. My boobs would literally deflate or inflate overnight or the nausea would disappear and I'd be 100% sure I'd lost the baby.

It totally depends on the woman and the individual pregnancy.

For example, I have three DC. Pregnancy sickness (all day, not just mornings) kicked in for me at 9 weeks, 12 weeks and 5 weeks, and in all cases didn't go until 20 weeks. The first two times I thought I'd got away with it as I thought it started earlier, until it hit me.

Try to enjoy your pregnancy and get as much rest as you can.

You shouldn’t expect anything everyone’s pregnancy is different

There is no such thing as normal when it comes to pregnancy symptoms as every pregnancy is different. Symptoms, extreme or lack of etc have no bearing on the viability of a pregnancy. It's also very normal for symptoms to come and go.

In my first pregnancy, my first symptom was only sore boobs then nothing else until around 7 weeks. I had sickness and nausea weeks 7 to 14 ish, a real aversion to food smells (especially meat). I was very bloated but barely had a real bump until the 3rd trimester.

In my current pregnancy (I'm now 18 weeks), the sore boobs came first again but then awful sickness, extreme tiredness, thirst etc hit at 5.5 weeks and it's still going on now. Also suffering with bad headaches.

Both girls.

My mum had 4 kids and not a day of sickness with any of us.

Also never had any morning sickness or hardly any symptoms really. Don't start thinking you "should" be experiencing anything, you'll go mad.
