Has anyone had the problem of trying to get pregnant but not getting any ‘high’ or ‘peak’ ovulation strips. Also if anyone had lows but still managed to get pregnant

Did you test earlier in your cycle as well or just from day 18? Is day 28 the end of your cycle?

@Redplenty i started testing at 12 days after period however my periods are irregular so carried on till today basically. Still seeing no hope

You've missed out testing quite a few days of this cycle so my suspicion is that you've probably missed it. You can miss it if you only test once a day (which is why it's recommended to test twice a day until you're familiar with your cycle) , so by missing days 23, 26 and 27 you've probably just not seen it.

12 days after your period began or ended?

@Redplenty maybe but I didn’t see any sort of rise at alll not even the slightest which is why I’m confused. Does it have to be a really strong line to ovulate?

That's normal. For some people (myself included) it can be 0.17 at 7am, 1.9 (peak) at 1pm and then 0.3 by dinner. So personally I test three times a day when I'm close but you would absolutely miss it if it was on a day you didn't test.

I'm tracking using easy@home strips and then the digital clear blue once I get my peak. I've managed to get a couple of smiley faces on the digital two months in a row but despite getting my peak the last couple of months the digital is not positive ovulation. I got my peak at 2:30 this afternoon and then it was way back down 0.2 just now and followed using same sample to test the digital and it was negative. Can anyone shed some light on the window of ovulation that might result in a smiley face? As in once you get your peak is that equal to ovulation occurring and for how long afterwards? I don't understand how I am not getting the positive on the digital thanks

If that were me, I would have missed it. I have a 26-29 day cycle. I usually ovulate on cycle 12 or 13. I hit my peak on day 10/11. If I only started testing from cycle day 12, I would never see a peak. I start testing as early as cycle day 8.

@Lulu89x do you also track ovulation? If so when would you based on your chart as mine is very similar.

Yes I track ovulation every month. In fact, I used it as a contraceptive which has been fool proof for me for 3+ years. Based off my chart, I ovulated on cycle day 12. I only DTD once on cycle day 10 and I am now currently 5+ weeks pregnant 🤣

How do you know ovulation has happened? Do you use digital tests or just rely on your peak LH?

I use the Premom app along with the easy@ home ovulation sticks until I find my peak. That paired with monitoring my BBT.
