When should I hear about C-Section?

At my 35 week appointment 2 weeks ago, they asked me what type of birth I wanted and I said I was leaning towards an elective. Midwife understood as I had forceps before. She said she would refer to the hospital who would talk me through the risks.
I have heard nothing since. I’m now 37 weeks and worried that I should have had my talk by now.
Are they purposely delaying it so I don’t go ahead? What shall I do to chase it up?
I text my midwife today who hasn’t replied.

In my trust I was given an election date and order on the list at 20 weeks, but I do know in some trusts they don’t give you a week in advance and we’ll just tell you week 39 and phone you a day or two before!
