Small HC and 1 small femur

After multiple miscarriages I'm still shocked to say I'm now 21 weeks pregnant with a little girl. My full pregnancy I have been filled with anxiety that something will go wrong but thought I would relax a little after my 20 week scan which was last Friday.
I went in thinking that I may be able to actually start enjoying this pregnancy after today to be told that her head is measuring below the 5th percentile and so was one of her femurs.
The sonographer told me i would have to have a urgent referral to a specialist hospital so I came out the hospital absolutely heartbroken thinking all my fears had been confirmed.
I then had a call from a a midwife apologising and letting me know that I did not need a referral and to attend a growth scan in 2 weeks time.
I guess I'm looking for someone who's been been through similar and what I can expect?
Thank you for reading

Honestly a smaller HC and one femur on the smaller centile really doesn't sound like anything to overly worry about. They will do extra growth scans if they need to to make sure she's growing as they would expect. No other soft markers found also doesn't sound its anything to worry about.
I have had a very complex pregnancy and it wasn't a good outcome in the end but I had significantly more issues picked up 21 weeks than this.
I hope you get loads of reassurance at the next scan and you can enjoy the rest of your pregnancy ❤️

One of my twins had similar issues. Of course for percentiles to work, perfectly healthy children have to fall in the 5th percentile and below.
My daughter was (and is) naturally quite petite. I have several additional growth scans but there was no sinister cause for her little limbs and head.

@PilgorTheGoat thank you for taking the time to reply and it feels really good hearing from someone with a similar experience I'm glad all is okay with your daughter, I'm only 5 foot 1 and my partner about 5 foot 4 so it is possible

I forgot to say that her head and the femur both measured at 19 weeks 2 days when I was 20 weeks 2 days at the time everything else measured correctly

My baby was on 5th centile for head and 12th for femur at 20 weeks. The consultant said they generally don't worry about anything under the 3rd centile and even then they'd just make sure that the baby is growing along their curve. I had a growth scan at 28 weeks and the head was 6th and femur 18th. So they're growing fairly consistently, they're just small. I'm having a growth scan every 4 weeks to just keep an eye on them.

5th centile is 1 in 20 people - which doesn't make it seem so bad when you talk about it like that. Some people are just smaller
