Today couldnt find out what sex the baby was as the cord was between its legs!....

ive gotta go back in 10 weeks time (ill be 30 weeks pg) cos the placenta is blocking my birth canal atm so will have another scan..

will i be able to know whats sex it is? or did i blew my chance to find out today?

You can always ask, and I'm sure if it is their general policy to tell you - and if they can see - then they will do so. Last time round I went for a growth scan at 34 weeks and they asked if I wanted to know. Sadly with this pregnancy our trust won't tell us (with previous babies they have been happy to do so), so we are paying for a private scan next week.

There are some great pictures on the net of baby private bits at various stages - I think on in-gender? - I'm sure someone will know the link. Then if they won't tell you, at least you can try and get a sneaky peek. I did this a couple of weeks ago when I had a scan at 16 weeks for another reason, and am pretty certain I saw a willy, so it looks like yet another addition to the men of the house! Even the cat is a boy!

Same happened with my 20 week scan last time. Had a 4d one at 28 weeks and found out then instead.

yes as dp still didnt want to know but i did. (just hope its a girl as got all dd's 0 - 2 yrs old clothes in the loft atm)

Rotten luck biglips! I'm sure they will tell at 30w. When I had a scan at 38w+5 last time, the doctor asked then if we knew what sex she was (although we already did) I think it was his way of checking as he could see too!
