Congratulations and what a lovely idea. I would say nice purchases that are a treat but practical too

  • BabyBjorn carrier
  • Ewan the dream sheep
  • Baby monitor
  • Baby Rocker
  • Cute baby towels
  • Snuggle baby bath
  • Next2me crib / Moses basket
  • Not sure if you are BF but if you aren’t formula prep machines are great
  • Changing bag

Otherwise, you can never have to many of

  • Nappies
  • Wipes
  • Muslin cloths
  • Sleepsuits
  • Vests
  • Socks
❤️

Tula make beautiful baby carriers and are comfy to use.

I bought a quality bouncer when I was pregnant as we needed it for the baby of my SIL who came to stay for two weeks. Once my DD was born I used it until she reached the max limit and she loved it. I loved it too. I went for a strong one that cost around £50 at the time instead of some cheaper ones that looks light.

Our best purchase- we got these great little soothers from Amazon called ‘2 pack teething toy for baby’ its currently £6.70 and it helped my son come along in terms of hand eye coordination. Instead of a dummy from 3/4months until he started eating he would practice putting it to his mouth and then suck or bite it. We only got it for him at 3/4months though. He used them until about 10+ months. https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0BJ2C3WQ6?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

Milton cold water steriliser/bucket. Handy and cheap. We used it to clean the bottles/pumpset/nuby flasks/teething toys.

playmat to practice tummy time. This will become very handy and was one of our most used items.

nappy changing mat.

Do you want a room temperature device- there are really cheap ones.

A cheap little bath/or bath dam if going straight into the main bath/ or bath support.

A bath thermometer? I got a nice like crab shape thermometer to use in the bath- he still uses it at 18months old for his baths.

Car seat mirrors too are handy …. This was handy too for when out and about to warm up milk or when they are older for warming up foods https://www.tommeetippee.com/en-gb/product/travel-bottle-and-food-warmer?gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAC9C0qcUnCQ7Qo5l_f0A_ywUpnWNz&gclid=Cj0KCQjwmt24BhDPARIsAJFYKk3NI1mp7AQ6CIyJZbVoly-z_2YQkdYswbxhHX-zjE5sJcEECb1gg-waAkR2EALw_wcB

I’m a shopoholic so I might not be the best person to advise 🤣. However all the products I listed above, I’ve bought and loved them ❤️

thank you so so much! what model of you don't mind me asking for camera or if you have a link?

Euan the dream sheep is a twat and does not make the baby sleep, he is false advertising. Save your future self the trauma and drop him from the list.

Agreed. I was so excited to get him and he was a big let down.
We got a cheap hippo version from Lidl that was so much better.

We didn’t buy a bottle warmer- we just took a little plastic container, glass jar (or just used a readymade bottle of formula) and a thermos flask of hot water. Worked well to warm up milk very quickly.

Also coffee shops/services will tend to give you hot water if needed if you say it’s for a baby.
