Iv just been for a wee and there was blood on the tissue. Should I be concerned? I’m 5 or 6 weeks (irregular period)

I had this at 6w for a few days. Rang OOH who basically told me I was miscarrying, I ended up with cramps and spotting so went to A&E (maybe I shouldn’t have but I was so upset 🙈). They done bloods and said my HCG levels were as they should be and they had me scanned by EPU the following morning - DS is now 3.

I had spotting at 6/7 weeks with all three of my pregnancies. Went on to have three healthy children, delivery at full term. My midwives were unconcerned although this was thirty plus years ago.

I had the same and I was due 3 days ago. I was told unless it's heavy, continuous and bright red then to try not to worry. Eat some progesterone rich foods as this may help. I know it's easier said than done to not worry but at 5-6 weeks you should likely be able to see a sac etc if you were to book a scan privately. We did in the end and it really reassured me - but if you can get one via EPU for free (which you have the right to request) then definitely do :).

All the best xx

Hi, I'm currently 5+3 and been spotting on and off since 6dpo. I've tried not to worry but it stopped completely on Monday and started again this morning. There was more pink than what OPs picture is. Trying to stay calm is super hard.
