Bleeding postpartum

Looking to see if anyone else had this issue.

Had EMCS at 36 weeks. Had normal bleeding on and off for 6 weeks after, not a huge amount though. Could go days without needing a pad.

At 8wpp I got a very heavy bleed after ovulation pain which lasted 4 days.

I then had light bleeding a week later.

A week after that I had some bleeding again which needed a pad, lasted a day.

the week after (so a 28w cycle) I had what felt like another period.

I am EBF and started the progesterone only pill 3 weeks ago.

Is this irregular bleeding normal / can it happen?

Been to doc who was useless but have been referred for ultrasound so now need to wait.

I had a vaginal birth and bled very very heavily for about 2 weeks and then kept bleeding for about 2 months post partum.

Ah this is interesting. I’m on month 3 - it could be irregular periods / spotting because of BF and the pill but it’s stressful

After I stopped breastfeeding I bled on the progesterone only pill every 2 weeks for a year then another year of 2 or 4 weeks bleeds. Prior to having my daughter I bled a couple of days a year on the same medication.
I spoke with my GP and she did an exam and ran some swaps and sent me for an ultrasound they didn't find anything
