Hi,

I had my 38 week appointment with the midwife yesterday.. babies head isn't down and she originally thought breech but then checked where heartbeat was and determined that baby is in an oblique lie with her head in my hip. Midwife didn't offer anything other than some exercise to do on the yoga ball and kerb walking ect.

I'm just stressed now that if I go in to labour and she hasn't moved I'll be taken for an emergency section. Should my midwife have offered a scan or a put a plan in place going forward? Bearing in mind this is the most pregnant I've been as at this stage I already had my son😵‍💫

It can change at the last moment so just do the exercises and have a look at the website ‘turning babies’ (I think that’s what I called). You can’t control everything so do what you can and be prepared to go with the flow. For breech babies they can do ECV so you could ask if they can do that for you.
