Does this look to be fading? Poss Chemical?

I have had a faint line at 9DPO, I have taken tests at the same time each morning since but I feel like where day 10 was darker, day 11 has gotten lighter.

Just thinking this could be a chemical pregnancy and looking for another opinion?

Quick update - I had a missed miscarriage in July so I’m quite paranoid/worried now.

That looks like a clear progression to me. The line is getting thicker too with each day which is what mine did on successful pregnancies with these test.

Test again tomorrow and you’ll hopefully see more progression.

Fingers crossed!

This is today’s.
Looks darker so fingers crossed it sticks.
Next Tuesday will take us over 5 weeks so hopefully it’ll progress until then.

Hi @Buddyxx23, just for comparison, I’m an IVF patient so know exactly date of ovulation etc, these are my tests from 9DPO-14DPO. I’m now 14 weeks. I think yours look fairly similar.

Amazing thank you.
I think I’m expecting a dramatic change each day but looking at others that doesn’t really happen.
My LH levels have gone from .47 to .98 in the last 3 days.

So I know I’m obsessing but today I am 1 day late for AF so had planned to do a clear blue digital test with my husband.

I woke up around 4am with quite bad period like cramps and needed the toilet so I did a test at that point as it was my first one of the day and thought the test looked lighter.

I went back to bed and did another test at 7am along with the digital and I feel like that one is slightly lighter although the digital came back with pregnant 2-3 weeks.

My boobs also feel less sore this morning and I still have some cramps but not as bad as the night.

Can I have some other honest opionions please? I just feel like this will be a chemical pregnancy, something I hadn’t even heard of until I was pregnant last time and started googling.

My honest opinion is you need to lay off peeing on sticks. If doesn’t change the outcome or allay anxiety about whether it will or won’t stick.

For what it’s worth your 4am one looks as strong as the day before to me. The 7am one should be taken with a grain of salt because it was only 3 hours after you last peed.

I’m afraid you just have to wait and see.

CatsandDogs22 · 25/10/2024 07:46

Oh and stop googling, that also doesn’t help. It doesn’t tell you what your outcome will be.

Buddyxx23 · 25/10/2024 07:49

I know, thank you.
I told myself I wouldn’t become obsessive over this but after having a miscarriage last time I’m just so worried it will happen again, my heart truly goes out to those and experience multiple.

I'd a chemical two months ago and I got a bfp this week, after 12 months of trying . I understand what an anxious time it Is but do try to stop testing. You'll only drive yourself spare squinting at lines.

Zypig · 25/10/2024 09:50

To be honest the sticks are absolutely not scientific so trying to compare day to day is filled with holes. If you really want to know and don’t feel comfortable to see what happens then I’d suggest you pay to get beta HCG tests done 48 hours apart. That will give you a much clearer idea of if your HCG is in a good range and if it is doubling like it should be. Beyond that you will be guessing.

Hi love hope you are doing well 😘
I’ve had 5 chemicals this year.
I know everyone says stop testing…. Tests weren’t made to check progressions etc… however, and this is just my opinion… I found it helpful to test every day as I saw the line getting fainter and it prepared me mentally and physically for the bleed. Otherwise I could have been caught at work or anywhere.
honestly do what you need to 😘
I really hope this all turned out well for you ❤️💎💫

Sorry to hear about your mmc I had one too in my last pregnancy. But agree with everyone put the tests down. There is actually no point in doing them. I know you are looking for reassurance , but those tests can’t provide them. All they can tell you is that you are pregnant, they can’t tell you the pregnancy is viable.
