Hello. Which ones have you tried that are a) comfortable b) not sheer/shiny and most importantly that don't roll down. I know most stores like TU and asda do them but would like personal reviews please. Just don't want to keep pulling them up and want them to be nice and snug right up to your bra. I also have a B bump so any that smooth you out is a bonus! Thankyou xx

The nicest ones I have are from Love Leggings - very soft and thick. For gym ones I like Latched.

I got some BabyGo maternity leggings. They were pretty good. They’re closer to gym leggings material so they’re not see through

HopefulllHolly · 21/10/2024 13:06

Lulu lemon aligne are amazing - they aren’t pregnancy leggings but have fit me the whole time. Expensive but I’ll wear them after too so they don’t feel like a waste. I got a pair of the high waisted and super high waisted.

I was an 18-20 before pregnancy so was a bit more limited - so many brands stop at a 16 or 16-18. I'm 38 weeks now and have got by with 2 packs of these

Plus for exercise I bought these, although they got a bit tight about a month ago and haven't worn them since, I'm sure I will wear them post-natally too

Bought these not that long ago and wow they are comfy, I ended up ordering another pair as I think they will be great for coming home from hospital in too. They are not quite as slim fitting as a legging but because of the cuff, they are smarter than a normal jogger.

I didn't want to spend loads on maternity leggings so I tried the £12 ones from ASOS and I ended up getting another pair, I got them in my normal size and I love them! Not see through at all!

MissyPants · 21/10/2024 14:36

I got some from love leggings also, they were good. I always liked Lidl's own maternity leggings tho too, cheap and cheerful, never fell down, can pull up and stay up over bump. I just wore legging liners underneath from primark (like thick footless tights) so essentially 2 pairs of leggings but did me fine during winter.

PumpkinScarf · 21/10/2024 14:39

Asda are surprisingly decent. I didn’t want to spend much and didn’t expect much but they’ve lasted two pregnancies and are still lurking in my wardrobe.

confusedlots · 21/10/2024 14:40

Has been a few years since I was pregnant, but I lived in H&M maternity leggings and jeans when I was pregnant, comfy and not too pricey

Second this! I bought a few pairs whilst pregnant with 3.5YO DS- they did the whole 9 months, post natal, still fit now (yes I’ve lost the weight before anyone that’s why 😂) and are in great condition.

Asos maternity 'yoga' pants were also my fav!

I found the h and m
One's fine. Quite good for all mat clothes as not too expensive

mrsed1987 · 21/10/2024 14:51

Asda are my favourite. I'm 6 months postpartum and just stopped wearing them lol

H&m beat asda for me. never tried their jeans but their leggings are magic

Wishingforchoc · 21/10/2024 15:59

Lululemon Align super high waisted are the ones! I bought one size up from usual to make them extra comfy, but they still fit post partum when I lost all the weight. They are also (possibly sadly) my go-to for mum days - I hate wearing nice meticulously ironed things and getting them wrecked by a pair of toddlers without 5 mins, whereas I don’t feel precious about the leggings. I have three pairs and they are on constant wash and wear.

Saying that, I’m currently pregnant with number three, and when this one starts pre school I might have to have a ceremonial burning ritual and welcome in my lovely proper clothes, as I’m already quite sick of the sight of them. They are so comfy and easy though…

elb1504 · 21/10/2024 16:10

I got some from Amazon just cheap ones and they are actually my favourite ones so comfy and lots of room. Also have ones from Lovall and they are great just more expensive.

Another vote for Lulu Lemon Align, I just size up when regular size eventually gets a bit tight. They are worth every penny. I’ve had mine since 2018 and still great condition after many many wears.

loveshoe · 21/10/2024 19:29

I bought these ones from M&S and am super happy with them. They’re super snug and the waist is very high. I got a size up from my normal size.

Love leggings is now Lovall, and I really rate their leggings and their maternity jeans. Currently wearing a pair now!

nanoghost · 21/10/2024 19:32

I loved the fabletics ones, found them nice and supportive.

Squeezetheday · 21/10/2024 19:37

I got some recently on sale from new look and they’ve been good, haven’t had any issues with them rolling down!

YouveGotAFastCar · 21/10/2024 19:41

I’ve got some Lovall ones and I’m wearing them today. They are super comfy and people have told me they look really nice - but 3 separate people have told me today that they shrink awfully and they’re already a bit bobbled after wearing them for most of a day, so I’m not too sure on quality, especially for the price…
