This is quite embarressing but Im 6 weeks pregnant and look about 6 months! [blush] My bellys gone huge .. is this normal? (pics...)

Obvilously I didn't have a Kate Moss belly to start with this is my 3rd pregnancy in under 4 years but my belly WAS fat but flat, the flab sort of hung around the bottom, it wasn't round at all, just flabby!

I read that your body holds on to food much longer when you are pregnant, to squeeze maximum nutrition out of it. It can collect in your bowel and give you a pot belly, even if you don't feel particularly constipated. So it's probably that or water retention, which is also v common. I seemed to have a tummy a tiny bit like that, but I am 12 weeks now and it still looks like it did six weeks ago - no bigger. Swings and roundabouts!
