7weeks 1day pregnant- brown clot when I went to the toilet. [pic included]

Hi everyone. I’ve signed up to this website hoping there are some ladies who have been in the same situation as me to help put my anxiety at ease🥺

this is my first pregnancy so all comments are really appreciated- 2 days ago I had experienced ever so slightly brown spotting which I wasn’t concerned about but then last night as I went to the toilet, I noticed a brown finger nail size of clot/discharge. I’ve woke up with nothing more or no other symptoms but could anyone please let me know if I need to worry, I’m expecting a call from my doctor today. I feel these early stages are such a worry and you are left in the dark with many things.. praying everything is going to be ok🙏

I had this with my second pregnancy. She’s now 4. The hospital scanned me and were very reassuring.

Thank you so much for your reply, this is so reassuring to hear. I’ve been advised to go for an early scan which I’m going to do to today just to put my mind at ease

I had very similar at about 6 weeks pregnant but I'm 18 weeks now with a healthy beautiful baby boy! They say if it's brown blood it's old blood so it's probably just coming away now. Keep us updated on your scan 🥰

I had this at 8 weeks and it wasn't good news for me. Hope it's good news for you

I'd book in for a private scan immediately
