Worried about hcg

Hello everyone.
i have been TTC for 9 months. This month felt a little different so at 13dpo I took a boots an clear blue test (both early detection) which came back with faint lines.
this morning at 14dpo I took another clear blue but I think the line still looks quite faint. My other concern is I have taken pregnancy test strips, one had a very very faint line and the others have been negative.
I am starting to worry myself that the line progression isn’t strong enough. Is HCG still low around 14dpo? I am due on my period today or tomorrow.

I have attached photos of the tests.

thank you 😊

The line progression on the clear blue looks good to me!
Take another test tomorrow and it should look even darker :)

Your HCG should double every 2 days. If you test again tomorrow and compare to 13dpo I would imagine it's a much stronger line.

Even the early detection tests use day of missed period for their success % of pregnancies detected. Now you are 14dpo I would expect over the next few days the positive tests get more consistent

In my 2 pregnancies i only tested 5 days late and both were "dye stealers". 1 pregnancy gave me my daughter and the second end in miscarriage at 10 weeks, I think I lost it earlier than that though. It took 3 weeks for my HCG to be low enough to give a negative test result. Line progression can give false reassurance so try not to put too much weight to this tests and ask yourself if the questions they raise are more or less anxiety provoking that not knowing one way or the other. I definitely an obsessive type and gor my own wellbeing I make a conscious effort to not retest after the positive

Your lines look fine to me.

Thanks all who replied 🙂
I took more early detection tests today. One was negative and one was positive as per photo, line came up within the time frame. Not really too sure what to think right now!

Are you sure of your ovulation date? This was mine at 14DPO. You could have ovulated later and not be as far along or your hCG could just be a bit lower

Put the tests away keep yourself busy. Give yourself 2-4 days then test again.

Right now the testing is providing anxiety rather than reducing it. There are encouraging signs, let's say your HCG as the level of detection 25 whatever units. It could be that your hydration levels means you bounce between positive and negative. In 2 days they should double in 4 days they will have quadrupled. Now you are looking at 100 for you HCG and you shouldn't need squinty eyes for that. Testing daily, or multiple times a day, when you could be going from 25 to 35 with varying hydration you aren't necessarily going to see what you want not because it's not progressing just because there are too many moving parts that are influencing the test results.

I've just done a search for HCG levels at 4 weeks lmp which should be approximately 14dpo and they are 5-400 an 80 fold difference between the minimum and maximum! If you happen towards the bottom of that scale you might need a bit of time to get that definitive positive test.

If you're due on your period today/tomorrow and the lines have gone from a definite line (ie not a 'squinter') and are now much fainter, my opinion would be that you may be experiencing a chemical pregnancy.

I track my ovulation via digital strips. I had a very high peak on 5/10/24, so believe I ovulated 6/10/24 or maybe 7/10/24?.
i am starting to think maybe this is a chemical pregnancy. My cycles range from 28-30 days. I am day 29 today.

Pregnancy tests give yes or no results.
