If you didn't have any obvious pregnancy symptoms (like sickness) that meant you have to tell work early, when did you tell work?

Last pregnancy I waited until 25 weeks (the legal deadline) but it was the pandemic and that was easy to do. Thinking just after 12 week scan this time but not sure if that'd be too soon?

I think it was around 20wks, whenever that scan is.

@Grepes were you able to hide it easily that long? Not that obviously anyone would say anything hopefully but just wondering.

It's actually quite rare that any of my team wait until the 12 week scan to tell me. More often than not I'm told around 8 weeks.

I’m not sure! Nobody asked me (even though someone asked me if I was pregnant a few years before when I definitely wasn’t - yes it was a man!).

I think now most people know to not ask. I think it’s totally up to you and for me I just wanted to get all the major checks out of the way.
