Morning sickness

Hi ladies,
im after some advice please. I’ve had babies before but fortunately never experienced what I would call real morning sickness.
this time however I’ve had it probably a normal amount until yesterday when I can now no longer keep anything much down at all. I’m scared to eat cos I know I’ll be sick, I don’t fancy anything to eat cos the thought of everything makes me feel nauseous. Even water comes up. I’m sure this isn’t normal but I don’t know when’s the right time to speak to a midwife or someone?
thanks

Hi,
im new here and this is my 1st pregnancy and 6weeks atm. I’ve not experienced this level of severe morning sickness but I would say if you can’t keep anything down over the weekend contact your GP on Monday. I had a friend who was prescribed some anti sickness meds in her pregnancy as the sickness was so bad. Hope you feel better soon.

I’m feeling so lazy, I have no spring in my step for the last week and the sofa is where I’m spending most of my time. I feel sick all the time and have to eat every hour or I feel really sick. House is getting more and more disorganised and I’m feeling frustrated I can’t do more. When I try and just get on with things normally and do too much I feel dizzy, breathless and sick so I sit down again. Is that normal?

Yes the exhaustion is real & horrible! It supposedly passes in 2nd trimester but I can’t say I’ve ever had masses of energy while pregnant. I’m very grateful my partners been amazing I came home today and he’d had a good tidy round & he’s treating me like a queen!
I’m going to see how the rest of the weekend goes like you say and if tomorrow’s like yesterday and today I’ll be calling in cos I can’t keep anything down, tmi but Ive been throwing up acid and yellow bile almost like I’ve got a stomach bug but it’s definitely just the little bean in my womb causing havoc!

I get horrible pregnancy sickness. I find fresh tasting food best. Anything bland just tastes of vomit to be. With my daughter I lived off tinned peaches and my second pregnancy it was cherry tomatoes and celery. Also had antiemetics prescribed
I get an aversion to water and it tends to make my sickness worse. With my first pregnancy warm water and honey helped but didn't in my second it didn't but smoothies did. The thicker consistency was easier to keep down

Hi OP.

Your sickness sounds a bit like mine was. I was keeping very little down from week 4-9 and then at that stage nothing at all was staying down.

By week 10 I called the GP and was prescibed cyclizine which has made a massive difference.

Honestly contact your GP as soon as you can and ask for anti sickness tablets as I really wished I had of much sooner.
