Hoping someone might have had a similar experience. I’m 5 wks + 3 days pregnant and this morning had very heavy bleeding with bright red fresh blood. No pain no cramps or any other symptoms. I immediately left work and changed my pad. I soaked through the new pad and then passed a big clot. Since then bleeding has tapered off.
I did a pregnancy test after bleeding started and it was the darkest lines it’s been since I found out - even with blood in the urine sample. I feel achy and abit tired similar to when on my period but could also be from emotions and running about to hospital then a&e then home. I’ve now got an appt at early pregnancy unit for Monday and I had a callback from a GP who said it sounds like threatened miscarriage.
This is my rainbow baby as I had a late miscarriage at 20 weeks in July this year. I’m hoping it’s not mc but I’ve got little expectation now. Has anybody had similar experience?
