Hi. This is my first pregnancy and everything is very new to me. I’m 14 weeks and 4 days at the moment, and most days I feel some twinges and/or aching in my lower abdomen. It isn’t painful, it’s more that I’m aware of the feeling. Sometimes it feels like light period cramps, but it doesn’t last very long.

Is this normal? I had a scan at 13 weeks and nothing was brought up as being abnormal - just a very wiggly baby!

I just can’t help but worry that everything is ok in there. It’s not helped by the fact that the nausea hasn’t gone away yet either.

I had this as well, it’s because everything is growing, expanding and contracting!
i had period pain in lower back and twinges around abdomen.
Nothing to worry about unless also accompanied by bleeding (which I also had so I got it checked out - turns out my placenta is low so I need to avoid doing excessive exercise - but otherwise nothing to worry about)
Back pain could also be a uti / kidney infection so they tested me for this too but I was clear.
