Very heavy period after d&c

Hi all, I was seven weeks waiting for my period and it's here with a bang. It's so heavey going through a pad every hour is this normal

My first period after surgical management was REALLY heavy and yes it was through a pad every hour for about 4 days so I couldn't leave the house. My next few periods were really heavy too but slowly eased back to normal. Hope it eases off for you soon!
