Gall stones in pregnancy - in agony!!

Currently typing this from hospital after being admitted with gallstone pain. I'm 28 weeks pregnant and the pain is unbelievable, feels worse than anything ever experienced (maybe even worse than childbirth!). Last year I had severe pain that was diagnosed as gallstones after a scan but not had anything since until now. I'm so scared this pain will never go away, I'm on day 4 now of it and it's really horrendous. Has anyone been through this with any advice of what helps? I'm going to be eating a low fat diet from now on but could this continue to flare up during my pregnancy? I'm terrified this pain will never end.

Hi honey I’m 35 weeks and been in the same boat!
I changed to low fat diet but if I can feel things starting to grumble again I’ll strip my diet back mega basic which seems to settle things. I was in hospital with them earlier in pregnancy but honestly things seem to have settled as my pregnancy has progressed x

@Emma543 thank you so much for your reply, it's good to hear that it should settle as long as I do the same and eat basic. How long did your pain last? Everything I have read says that pain is typically over after a few hours to a day but mine is going on forever! The hospital have been able to give me some pain killers that are easing it a bit though thankfully.
