Evaps???

Hi, my first post on here!
I’ve been trying to conceive my third baby. I had my second 10 months ago after 12 years of secondary infertility. I’m 37 now and husband 44 so we are only going to try for a year due to our age. We’ve always wanted two children close in age.
I think I’m around 9-10dpo. I’ve been getting faint lines on the One Step tests. I’m not sure if they are evaps, I know they are notorious for them.
I’ve been using them for a few cycles now (same batch) and never had a line at all. I also dipped one in water to see if it produced an evap and it was completely stark white.
I also did a Tesco test this morning, it’s only 25miu though so it’s really faint and difficult to see in pictures.
Am I just driving myself insane?

Hi, that’s what I did when I first posted. Just tried it again and they aren’t showing for some reason.

So the first few are from this morning and the others from yesterday. The one this morning looks more pink but it's hard to see in the pictures.

Those are definitely positive.

I'm just worried as I've read about a lot of people having false positives or evaps with these. I think I'm only 10-11dpo.
I did a Tesco test yesterday which was only 25miu and I couldn't see much, a faint line but again it's not easy to see in pictures.

I really hope they are but I'm trying not to get my hopes up just yet. Read a lot of posts on here and seen that people have got lines and then been not not pregnant

The strip tests you posted don't really look like evaps, as they are a thick line and it looks like my first positive... I'm now 11 weeks and all is fine. I really hope this is the same situation for you. Wait a few more days and test again. Fingers crossed for you x

I would agree with @LozC0411 - they really don't look like evaps. I find the pink dye tests aren't as bad for them anyway. I can see the faint line on the tesco test too!

@LozC0411 Thanks for replying. I really hope so. I've only been back at work a few weeks after maternity leave. It was always my dream to have two close in age but we really struggled and my eldest is 15 now and youngest 10 months.
I will leave it a couple of days now, think I am due on Sunday.

That certainly looks positive! Congratulations!

I love your reserved not wanting to get your hopes up but you’d have to be so unlucky to get evaps on so many different branded tests. Even the Tesco less sensitive one has a faint line. Do another in a few days to get a clear positive, but I’d say you’re definitely pregnant.

Thank you! I will test again in a couple of days. Used all the cheap one step strips and just have another Tesco one left.

I've taken the other Tesco test this morning as I'm impatient. I'm sure it looks more visible today, more pink in the line. Can anyone else see it?

Yes totally. They all look like early positives to me and it would be unusual to get so many false positives over 2 different brands. Congratulations! ♥️
