Feels like baby is going to all out!

In the last few days my bump has definately dropped, which is fantastic for my ribs, but I feel like the baby is going to fall out! The pressure is unbelievable and I really can't remember feeling like this with dd. I am 34 weeks. It is making it very uncomfortable to walk and the pressure does not go away when i lie or sit down. Is this normal when the baby engages? The midwife said on Monday that he is 3/5 engaged. At this stage is there any point in seeing a physio or do I just have grin and bear it?

Hi,

I am 37 weeks and had exactly the same thing.

I saw MW yesterday and she said there was little point seeing the Physio at this stage but she has referred me anyway.

She said she felt confident that once baby had passed the pelvic brim - ie 2/5 then the pressure would ease but this might not happen until labour!
