Girl names you love

Hi all,

As the thread title suggests really😊Baby girl due early March, my 20 week scan is next Wednesday and I'm starting to feel nervous about it.

But just wondered what names you love in case I have missed a trick. I love Amelie and April - DS is a Mason so I need something that goes with that. I love Amelia but it is very popular so want to use a variant. And I've loved April since I was 14 and am a teacher and have never taught an April.

What names do you love?

Me and my husband have decided if we have a girl (when I eventually fall pregnant lol!) we will be calling her Wren💞

I like Amelie, could that be a variant for you?

I've always loved Rose and regret not using it for my DD. Pregnancy made me see names differently and I overthought it all. I think if you have always loved a name it's unlikely you will go off it.

Oops just seen you said Amelie, I read it as Amelia!

I really like April op. Think it flows nice with your ds' name too.

April and Julie are my favourite unused names.

Also love Sophie, Zoe, Zara and Sarah. (Have used two of these!)

April is lovely. Amelia is my least favourite name, as it has the very ugly 'mealy' sound in it. It's also a medical word meaning 'absence of limbs'.☹️
